When did you join this server: Not quite sure, I've used different steam accounts and have tried a bunch of the DarkRP servers, and I've really started to like this particular one.
How long can you play daily (non-afk hours): Completely depends on the day. I'm just getting out on summer break, and finishing my finals this week, Usually about 3-6 Hours depending on the day, but again it could be more or less considering I try to play with some of my close friends as they can't always play too often.
Have you been staff on another server before: I have managed a few other servers for some of my friends because they've created servers and what not, but I recently took a break from GMOD following the recent update, and I'm starting to get back into it. I am still sort of rusty given I haven't been experiencing the same environment as I was before. But I have managed business chains, and servers, so I do have experience of management and power, but not Admin/ SuperAdmin recently.
Are you staff on another server right now: Currently I am not.
Do you have a working mic: I do, but I'm working on getting a better one because the one I have works, but it's hard to talk to people at night because of how quiet it is.
Are you friends with any staff or do they know you if so who: I have made friends with some of the staff, and I've not been afraid to ask for help or any assistance. I haven't made any friends with some of the newer staff because like I said earlier, I haven't had a whole lot of time to get back into GMOD, and I'm starting now because it is summer for me after this week is over.
If a mic spammer where to come on what would you do: I've encountered quite a few mic spammers in the last few days, and its usually music, but if it wasn't bothering anyone i.e. no one was around, I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. But if the volume and or language is getting out of hand I would have a talk with the person to discuss them turning off the music and/ or making it so they have to use a button to talk. I am huge on respect, and if they decide to not listen I would gib/ mute them. If this didn't work (continue spamming) then I would kick/ban the person for disrespecting an admins request to please stop.
If someone prop killed what would you do?: If someone were to prop kill, I wouldn't think to highly of it, and thats of course saying it's on purpose. But if it's an accident and I could clearly tell it wasn't in their control, it would be a warning, and I would keep an eye on them. But if I can easily tell it was on purpose (lying about it or watched it happen) I would talk to them about it frist, then I would kick them. If I saw them do it AGAIN after this, I would ban them as they have not made an attempt to follow very clear instructions.
If someone prop climbs what would you do?: Obviously there are times when you move a prop at your feet and you pick yourself up, and that is a clear warning. But honestly it is another rule being broken, and it a serious issue, and I would warn them, and after warning I would have to ban/kick them.
If someone rdmers someone what would you do: I know there are events and what not; which is a slight exception (depending on the situtaion), but RDMing is a very serious issue, and I have had experience with RDMers, and I don't think fondly of it. I would have to freeze the perpitraitor, and talk to both people first because I personally believe in justice, and after that I would ban/ kick the RDMer without warnings because there is a very clear line between PropSurfing and RDMing, and it should be up to the player to make the right decisions, and I would make the final judgement.
What would you do if you saw another staff member abusing there powers: I think this is probably one of the more serious issues because of how sever it can and has gotten through my experience. I would obviously record the issue at hand and submit to the owner directly or through the forums. I would also have a talk with the admin/staff member abusing their power, and let them know that I recorded, and that I will be submitting.
Why do you deserve this spot: I believe that I deserve this spot because of my management and decision making experience. I have a lot of strengths; For example: I am very good at "playing detective" if you will, and I am able to handle extreme pressure and serious situations very professionally and swiftly as well to keep the gameplay from being spoiled. Another strength I have is I personally enjoy helping others, and I wouldn't mind taking an hour or so teaching a new player to the server or even GMOD how to get started, but at the same time I would monitor the server to ensure everyone is not only having fun, but is also playing fair whilst doing so. But this also leads to some of my weaknesses; I'll admit that I sometimes take things personally, and very seriously. I usually do a very effective job of not getting involved in situations too personally, but sometimes you have to. I am a very serious player, and I get annoyed because too often, people playing later at night feel that since no one is watching, they're allowed to do whatever they want, and I don't like this logic that some people use, and I think it ruins the game. I love making new friends, just like anyone else, but this process wouldn't alter my decision making process. Like I said before, I believe in justice, and if this means that I have to punish a friend for breaking the rules; so be it. People shouldn't be getting special privileges because of their relationship with someone of a higher power, and I think this way of thinking could do nothing but help the server grow stonger as a community. In conclusion, I think I would be a great adittion to the staff of this DarkRP server. I do have strengths like anybody else, and same goes for my weaknesses, but These things make me a really strong person, and that is what sets me apart from the crowd. I feel that I am ready for this level of responsibility. I am looking forward to getting to know all of the staff in the near future, and hopefully creating strong relationships with the people who play on this server.
